I like trees because they are big and strong and I like their branches, as if they were dancing at times, and I like their crowns, which sometimes arch over me like the sky, and I like their bark, which resembles skin, and I like their thick trunks and imagine their root structure, which could resemble the tree crown high above me. And then there are the leaves, which turn colorful in autumn and rain down from the tree when the wind catches them. In winter, the trees are bare and somber; in spring, they are bright green and translucent; and then in summer, the leaves are of a lush green that protects me from the rain or sun if necessary.
