Zoltán Jókay

I have been working in a retirement home for 15 years.

I sees the feebleness of the people I care for.

I see illnesses that I don´t not want to get.

I see people whose minds no longer works.

When I started there,

old age seemed a long way off for me.

Not any more. I have grown old by now.

My hair has thinned. It's all white now.

My neck is wrinkled and I got a pot belly.

I regularly take medication.

It would be difficult for me to manage without it.

I realize now that the rest of my life has already begun.
